September 2013, AUCKLAND, NZ: 2 a.m. Orchestra has dazzled a cult following for over a decade with one chief characteristic: transformation. The recent incarnation of this cast-rotating, genre-bending band features a rock n' roll four-piece playing the turbo-charged, elaborate arrangements featured on the brand new album, "Working To Divide" (Release Date: September 24, 2013)

Nearly four years in the making, "Working To Divide" will at last be released with supporting shows in New Zealand. The best part is that it will be available free through their website - the band is using the "pay what you want" scheme, placing their faith in the fans, rather than a label and distributors. “The most important thing is that the music is out there for people to hear,” frontman David Kelley said. “Better to know the music is being heard by a wider audience than make a few bucks from high-priced sales.”

ABOUT THE BAND: Featured on two recent Kiwi Hit Discs, 2 a.m. Orchestra generated a good deal of interest with their first two singles,

"Heads & Tails," and "Ain't Got The Fight." With videos and prior releases receiving rave reviews from international critics, it looks as though "Working To Divide" is about to win its way into a plethora of new ears.
