AESTHETICA SHORT FILM FESTIVAL NOW OPEN FOR ENTRIES!

Dear Vicki Evans

I hope this email finds you well. The Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2012 is now open for entries and I thought that some of your filmmakers and members at Dunedin Film Society might be interested in submitting some work. We're very keen to see more work from New Zealand in the festival in 2012 and it would be great if you could pass the information below on to your contacts atDunedin Film Society.

It's a fantastic opportunity for your filmmakers to broadcast their work to a wider, international audience. ASFF 2012 takes place in the historic city of York, UK from 8 - 11 November. The screenings will cover a wide variety of genres and filmic styles, including: drama, documentary, animation, comedy, music video, thriller, experimental and artists' film. The films will be showcased across 15 iconic locations in the city, from medieval halls to boutique cinemas and in addition to four days of screenings there will also be a series of master classes, workshops and networking with leading industry figures.

The winner will also receive £500 (apx. 975 NZD) among other prizes and screenings at a number of other UK festivals and the runner-up will receive £250 (apx. 485 NZD). A shortlist of finalists will be included on the ASFF Sampler DVD, which will be distributed with the December 2012 issue of Aesthetica Magazine, an international arts and culture publication.

Visit www.asff.co.uk for more information and to submit today! You can also find us on www.twitter.com/asffest
