$12,000 Raised from the “Artists in Action”

Artists in Action Art Exhibition and auction was organised to raise funds for The Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.

We are happy to announce that the exhibition and auction was very successful. On the auction night we managed to raise $9000 through sales and we also raised around another $3000 through sales from the exhibition so the total amount raised through the generosity of the artists who contributed was just over $12,000. All the works sold in the auction apart from one that is still under negotiation and around half the works sold in the exhibition.

This was a charitable exhibition and the artists received no funds from any sales. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross and Salvation Army Earthquake appeals.

We would like to thank everyone who supported this Fundraiser with a special thank you to all the artists who kindly donated there artworks.
