Congratulations to Benjamin Work. The inaugural Fatu Feu’u Pacific Arts Prize recipient from University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau.
The Prize was established in 2023 and is funded by Felicity Barnes and Michael Whitehead, to recognise and honour Fatu Feu’u and his role as a leader in the Pacific arts community.
The main purpose of the Prize is to reward excellence in creative practice for Pacific students in Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Fine Arts, Screen Production, or Music, who have the potential to have a positive impact on the creative capital of Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific region, based on a holistic view of the student’s practice.
