fleaBITE's new (fourth) album is a collaboration with film composers Plan 9 (ex Six Volts and current conspirateurs with Peter Jackson).

This is a dark and edgy album for older children, featuring the zombie anthem THE SKELLINGTONS OF WELLINGTON...described as Game of Thrones for children, set in NZ's capital city. Lighter moments include PROBABLY PAPAKURA, a laidback celebration of life in South Auckland, and the ultimate rodent fiesta FATTY RATTY PARTY.

fleaBITE specialises in producing theatrical kids' music that adults can also enjoy, and inviting NZ talent not usually associated with the children's genre.

Contributors to BITE ME include impro jazz wildman Jeff Henderson, drummer to the stars Chris O'Connor, tonsil twister Shannon Williams (ex Black Seeds), and the crystal clear vocals of Janet Roddick.

fleaBITE has twice won Best NZ Children’s Album with Circus of Fleas and The Jungle Is Jumping and the new album BITE ME is tipped to be the Children's Choice of the year.
