Who can make a nomination

Any individual or organization can nominate an individual to be honoured as part of Tempo Dance Festival. The nomination will be confidential to the Board of New Zealand Dance Festival Trust.

How to nominate someone for Honouring at Tempo Dance Festival 2019

Complete the nomination details and email to Tempo at temponominations@gmail.com on or before the closing date.

Nominee criteria

The nominee must have “made a significant contribution to dance in New Zealand”.

A nominee may be

• a dancer
• a choreographer
• a teacher
• other
• a New Zealander/non-resident

Nominee(s) must be available both to attend Tempo Dance Festival 2019 and during early 2019 to discuss Honouring details.

The decision will be made in confidence by the Board of New Zealand Dance Festival Trust at their absolute discretion and will take into consideration a number of other factors as well as any reasons given by nominating individual (s) and/or organization (s). The Board may also consider other persons in addition to those nominated.
