Capital magazine has been telling the stories of Wellington and its people for more than seven years. Now it has taken its formula online with the launch of capitalmag.co.nz
“Our focus is sharing the stories and achievements around the region,” says editor Alison Franks. “We’ve had more than 600,000 reads of our magazine on ISSUU.com, so we know the appetite for Capital content online is there.”
Website developer Shalee Fitzsimmons (Ngāti Tūwharetoa) said, “We wanted to create a place that continues the conversations we start in the magazine. It’s good to be able to continue the experience online. It’s about presenting our image-focused articles, with clean typography and design in a way that complements the print edition.”
The essence of Capital has always been to “love local.” To celebrate and bring attention to the new website they’ve joined with leading local brands for a series of amazing giveaways. Look for them on social media.
Capital is also now online as a paid feature. This is great news for overseas subscribers who, until now, have had to wait for international post to get their Capital fix.
