Group Therapy (17 Nov 2018 – 31 Mar 2019)
Audiences familiar with Len Lye will recognise an artist who could improvise on a theme. Group Therapy celebrates this trait with a trio of works demonstrating Lye’s interest in figures of motion and harmonic frequency.

Wand Dance (1 Dec 2018 – 18 Mar 2019)
Engineered by the Len Lye Foundation with the support of Team Zizz!, this work brings the experience of Lye's large outdoor works into the Gallery for a thrilling kinetic experience.

Haegue Yang: Triple Vita Nestings (1 Dec 2018 – 18 Mar 2019)
Diverse works from more than a decade of Yang’s practice, including video essays, anthropomorphic sculpture, audio work, and a venetian blind installation, alongside additional works produced for local audiences. A touring exhibition by the Institute of Modern Art

Maureen Lander: Flat-Pack Whakapapa (1 Dec 2018 – 18 Mar 2019)
Four installations that explore the connections between whakapapa and raranga (Māori weaving), including a new installation made in collaboration with local weavers. A touring exhibition by The Dowse Art Museum

Jacqueline Elley: Luxoplasts (1 Dec 2018 – 18 Mar 2019)
Inspired by microscopic marine life, Elley’s biomorphic light drawings emanate from a dark and unseen world that reflects both the nature and the man-made detritus polluting the environment.

Richard Maloy: Things I Have Seen (1 Dec 2018 – 18 Mar 2019)
In this video, working from memory and crafting in clay, Maloy recreates others’ work, translating experience and memory into a new form capturing the subjectivity of experience.

Projection Series #12: Oskar Fischinger and Len Lye (1 Dec 2018 – 26 Jan 2019)
A pairing of two of the most compelling experimental filmmakers of their generation.
