The Creative Coalition is very pleased to announce that the implementation of Auckland Council’s Draft Community Funding Policy has been deferred as a result of feedback from the community.
Eric Perry, Team Leader Region-wide Community & Cultural Planning at Auckland Council, has responded to Creative Coalition’s submission for the Draft Community Funding Policy to say that the funding policy will be deferred until 2013 / 14 to allow more time for development.
In addition, the Arts Alive scheme will continue (with the same budget) as it historically has had.
We will continue to keep the arts, culture and creative sectors updated as to the process around the further development of the Policy.
