Corban Estate Arts Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of the new Director, Luana Walker. Luana joins us from Auckland Council where she was the Creative Programme Lead and Manager of Arts and Culture Programme Planning.

With a robust history in the arts and culture sector working with organisations such as Auckland Council and the Auckland War Memorial Museum - Tamaki Paenga Hira, we welcome the knowledge, experience and leadership that Luana will bring to our CEAC community. A Waitākere local, residing in Titirangi, Luana also brings extensive experience in project and event management, team leadership and marketing and PR.

'Luana brings significant and wide-reaching experience to her new role as Director;  but also an  energy and presence  that we feel will inspire and energise the arts community out west. Her excitement  about the role and the future of CEAC is shared by the board and staff.'

Naomi McCleary: Chair

Luana looks forward to joining the team later this month and the team are equally looking forward to welcoming her.

Covid-19 guidelines permitting, the CEAC community and our supporters will be able to meet Luana onsite from late August and at our next opening celebration for our upcoming exhibitions; A Footnote on New Zealand History by Cindy Huang and group exhibition 1924 on Friday 17 September, 6-8pm.
