Coworking expert and founder of Philadephia’s Indy Hall, Alex Hillman, is visiting Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland on the “Better Work Tour” next month to share his insights on collaborative work environments and how they are changing the way we work.
Mr Hillman has been brought to New Zealand by The BizDojo, a national network of collaborative workspaces that operates from locations in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Alex to New Zealand,” says The BizDojo’s Auckland founder and partner Nick Shewring. “Alex has a lot of insights to offer about how to create innovative coworking environments at community, precinct and city level that we believe will be useful for government organisations and workplaces around New Zealand, but are particularly relevant given the opportunities offered by the Christchurch rebuild.”
Alex will be presenting at two events in each city starting with a breakfast seminar and workshop at CPIT in Christchurch on 9 September. He will then present two seminars at Massey University’s College of Creative Arts building on 11 September before heading to Auckland to present at “Survive & Thrive” in the new Sir Paul Reeves building and to deliver a break out workshop in partnership with the conference on 13 September.
“The smaller workshops that Alex will facilitate offer people and organisations an opportunity to ask questions and receive advice from him on their particular projects,” says Mr Shewring. “This is a rare opportunity to learn from a global leader in co-working environments.”
