The No. 8 Wire National Art Award challenges artists to create artworks using predominantly No. 8 Wire, an iconic Kiwi agricultural product. It has become renowned for the ingenious and unique entries it attracts and has become a highlight on the national art calendar. The awards draw on an iconic farm product and translate this through talent and ingenuity into an art form.
