Fresh from releasing her self-titled debut EP, Auckland based indie pop singer-songwriter Little Lapin will be embarking on a ten date solo acoustic tour of NZ in January 2014. Although she usually performs with her Auckland based band she is looking forward to offering audiences a more intimate performance with a stripped back acoustic guitar and vocal set. Little Lapin’s new single Sound of Summer is out now and has been playlisted on music channel C4 ,student radio station 95bfm and was also selected by BBC Radio 6 host Tom Robinson for his Christmas Gems 2013 playlist. He also featured her song Waiting Room on his BBC Introducing Mixtape in September 2013. Little Lapin is now working on a follow-up album with Ben King to be released early this year. Supporting her on tour is Eden Roberts who is an an eighteen year-old singer/songwriter who communicates universal themes through a sweet blues voice over an alternative acoustic guitar style. She has been described by Jordan Luck of the Exponents as "A writer working in a new space". Eden was the support slot for UK songwriter Nik Kershaw. Sound of Summer, the first track from Little Lapin’s forthcoming album is now available worldwide and is available as a free download for a limited time only here: https://soundcloud.com/littlelapin/sound-of-summer-1 http://littlelapin.bandcamp.com/track/sound-of-summer
