Emma Prill is an exciting and vibrant New Zealand artist, based in the Bayof Plenty, New Zealand, with her young family.

Emma has a passion for working with dynamic colours to create exquisitely made flower gardens using acrylic on canvas.
Her work has been celebrated at various arts awards, including winning Miles Art Award 2014: People's Choice Award, and as a
finalist in the 2016 Miles Art Award and 2017 Molly Morpeth Art Awards.

Emmas' work is influenced by her travels, weaving images from the jungles of Sri Lanka, and the tropical reefs of Fiji.  Says Emma “I stumbled across the
flower markets in Madras, Southern India. Thousands of orange marigolds and lotus flowers floated in large vessels, glowing like
the sunrise. The rustling of silk saris moved like a richly coloured painting in motion”

As well as being a successful and in-demand artist, taking commissions for original art and producing high quality limited edition prints of
her work, Emma teaches children's after school art classes, is a guest art tutor at the Tauranga Art Gallery and runs regular adult
art workshops from the Incubator and Artery workshop at the Tauranga Historic Village, as well as her own home studio. Emmas work includes
her prize winning Flower Garden works, her orignally designed Light Word resin boxes and her Emma Prill Art Workshops Kits, for children
and adults alike. “Emma is a professional and accomplished teacher with a down-to-earth attitude. I feel very safe entrusting our clients into her creative
care. Her programmes push creative boundaries and bring the best out of children and adults alike.” - Hannah Wilson, Learning and Engagement Programmes Manager, Tauranga Art Gallery.

Emma has a stunning giclee print range. The quality of the photography and printing combined give the prints almost the illusion of being three
dimensional. The colours are rich and vibrant and the detail captures the intricate and beautiful depth of the original work. You can view
