New trustee for NZ Dance Festival Trust

NZ Dance Festival Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Nicole Bassett PhD (Auckland), Msc Hons (Auckland), Bsc (Massey), MBS (Massey) to the Board of Trustees.
Nicole brings extensive experience in fundraising and philanthropy to the Board, as well as her passion for dance and supporting dancers.
Nicole was inaugural Executive Director for the School of Medicine Foundation, CEO of Variety the Children's Charity and West Auckland Health Services Foundation.
As well as successfully holding the sponsorship and grants portfolios for numerous performing arts societies, she was owner and director of Auckland Academy of Dance for 5 years.
Currently Nicole is development manager for both the prestigious Liggins Institute and the Auckland Bioengineering Institute at the University of Auckland.
Nicole joins current trustees Marama Lloydd (co-chair), Suzanne Smith (co-chair), Geordan Wilcox, Kerryn McMurdo, Dr Rose Campbell and Elizabeth Ross.
