2013 Pacific Music Awards - Entries Close Friday 1st February!

The 2013 Pacific Music Awards will be held on Thursday 30th May at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau. Hosted by the Pacific Music Awards Trust these awards honour and celebrate Pacific artists and their music, as well as the best singles and albums that were released in 2012.

2013 sees the introduction of a new category, the Best Pacific Music Video, which has been made possible with the support of NZ On Air.

Categories for the 2013 Pacific Music Awards are:

-  Nautilus Foundation Best Pacific Female Artist
- NZ Music Commission Best Pacific Male Artist
- Niu FM Best Pacific Urban Artist
- APRA Best Pacific Song
- Radio 531PI Best Pacific Group
- Tagata Pasifika Best Pacific Language
- Best Pacific Gospel Album
- NZ On Air Best Pacific Music Video
- Best Pacific Music Album (NB: Also the NZ Music Awards ‘Tui’)

In addition to the above, the following four awards will also be presented:

- Auckland Council People’s Choice Award – Best Pacific Artist
- Manukau Institute Of Technology Lifetime Achievement Award
- Phillip Fuemana Award – Most Promising Pacific Artist
- NZ On Air Radio Airplay Award

Entries for the 2013 Pacific Music Awards close Friday 1st February
