Priceless
On 10th of August 2011 at 5:30pm, Rik Wilson, Moana Warwood and Alex Chalmers, three young Auckland based artists will host an exhibition at the George Fraser Gallery, 25a Princess Street, Auckland City, Auckland.
Their works examine ideas surrounding everyday encounters and non-traditional art materials. In effect is their ability to turn ordinary objects, materials and experiences into extraordinary encounters.
The exhibition employs acts of maintenance, assemblage, construction, intervention and documentation through photography, moving image and sculpture.
This exhibition is thought provoking and will engage a wide range of viewers due to the diversity of mediums, approaches to work and the examination of the common human condition
