Independent agency RUN has picked up Gold in the Integrated Design Campaign category at the Global Indigo Design Awards based in Amsterdam.

The campaign concept revolved around all the value members get when they sign up to become a Design Assembly ‘Friend’ and exaggerating that in a fun, attention-grabbing way. It specifically played on the amount of rewards members receive according to the dollar amount paid. So if a studio joins up for DA's ‘Friend Plus’ subscription (paying $2,000) they get 2,000 rewards etc.

This creative and design aesthetic hit a nerve with the judges who were judging work from global giants like Billboard Music Awards and GoDaddy.

The small Tāmaki Makaurau based agency have now collected awards from Best Design Awards, the Australian Graphic Design Awards (AGDA) and European based IDA among others.

"Every acknowledgment, especially for an agency our size and on a global level is amazing for us, even more so during this COVID lockdown. We are fighting back by succeeding on the international stage" says RUN Creative Director, Raymond McKay.

A testament to their innovative practice Laura Cibilich, Design Director at RUN says, “our client relationship with Design Assembly is built on trust and their courage to do something brave with a great idea behind it, so thanks to Lou and the team."
