Award-winning choreographer Malia Johnstone, singer/songwriter Eden Mulholland, video artist Rowan Pierce, set designer John Verryt and dancer Taiaroa Royal are just some of the names behind the sensory explosion that has left preview audiences buzzing.

An inter-arts experience like no other, Rushes lays out a loop of ephemerally-wrapped rooms that beckon the viewer with a whirlwind of live dance, film, song and soundscapes to stimulate the senses and leave you gasping for more.

Multiple performers spanning cultures and generations inhabit the space and navigate the extraordinary, from floors spurting water to walls that literally fall down. Live musicians paint a dazzling aural backdrop, dozens of dancers wend their bodies amidst the elements, and AV projections tower above.

Forget about sitting still, and embrace the rush to the senses. Rushes will leave you energised and exhilarated.
