Mark your calendars to visit the Whangarei Heads this coming Easter for the 2017 Whangarei Heads Arts Trail, which is promising to be the best yet with over 40 Artists exhibiting work.  The trail which includes 30 local artists and 12 guest artists will be spread around the Whangarei Heads at home studios and at three community venues.

The work on offer will be in a multitude of different mediums to suit every taste, including painting, jewellery, ceramics, sculpture, glass, prints, photos, textiles, metal and woodwork. 

A Trail Guide will available for sale at various points around the city and at the Heads to map out the various artists, with the $5 purchase price including a raffle entry for a voucher to spend on work from any of the participating artists and a year’s subscription to ‘The New Zealand Artist Magazine’.

Refreshments stops are available at all the local cafes and the Top Sail team will be set up outside the McLeod Bay Hall. There will be eftpos available at various venues, but not all so please be aware cash may be needed if you wish to purchase work.

The Trail will be held on Easter Saturday and Sunday, 15 & 16 April from 10am -5pm.
