The Miles Art Award 2014 is coming
Bay of Plenty artists can get to work with the announcement of timing for the 2014 Miles Art Award. This is the third biennial prize and exhibition at Tauranga Art Gallery, and is open solely to Bay of Plenty atists 18 years and over. Venetta Miles was an original donor to the Tauranga Art Gallery Trust. Her generosity is remembered through the exhibition and award. The Miles Art Award is kindly sponsored by The Venetta MIles Trust, and carries four prizes with the Supreme Award having prize money of $2000. The judging panel of three is yet to be decided. The exhibition aligned with the award will run August to October 2014. Further details on how to enter, submission dates for work, and entry forms will be available on our website www.artgallery.org.nz in late March.
