The See Here - Call for Submissions 2013
The See Here has a passion for investigating innovative and experimental jewellery practice that explores boundaries between adornment and issues of fine art and craft. In line with our vision, the members are extending the opportunity to show in the window space of 19 Tory Street. We are looking for work by artists/jewellers either of or relating to jewellery, that is experimental in terms of practice, material or presentation.
This submission round is for a show beginning April 6, 2014 and will run for four weeks.
The See Here will provide assistance with the installation of the work, will promote your show on the website www.theseehere.com and to the extensive database, and the space is free of charge. The See Here will also provide $50 (NZD) towards postage of the work to or from The See Here.
Submissions close Friday 6 December 2013 and you will be informed of the outcome in the following two weeks.
Your Proposal should include:
- A paragraph (no more than 400 words) to explain the intent of the work.
- Images, either drawn, photo-shopped or photographed.
- Materials and dimensions.
- Details of any special requirements, such as to have the work installed by persons other than yourself.
- Method of display.
- A short bio or CV.
- A commitment to provide a piece of writing in support of your work for The See Here website.

An exhibition handbook is available on request. The See Here does not provide an outlet for sales but will forward any enquiries.
