Kia Ora Vaudeville Lovers!

My name is Natalie Hugill (aka. Lilly Loca). I am the Director of Va-Va-Voom Productions and also the Creator, Producer, Publicist and MC for Auckland's most fun and frivolous night of entertainment, Lilly Loca's Vaudeville Cabaret.

We've got our sixth show season coming to Q Theatre in 2013 called Vivacious Vaudeville - A Fringe Special. This will be our longest season yet, which will run from the 14th - 16th February, 2013.

Lilly Loca’s Vaudeville Cabaret is New Zealand’s leading show in the vaudeville revival in New Zealand and is celebrated for it's fun & frivolous atmosphere, fabulous performers and its ability to leave every single audience member leaving with a huge smile on their face and feeling totally and utterly entertained.

We've got some absolutely wonderful vaudevillians lined up to entertain and titillate audiences during the show, such as...

Ken Samson as ‘Romano Zucchini’- In your face and in your pants interactive comedy!

Looney Rouge – Serving sumptuous servings of sexy swing!

Lilly Loca – MC and Theatrical Vaudevillian – Putting the Va-Va-Voom into Vaudeville!

Patty Haag – The Hideously Fabulous Stage Kitten! The Spietatet – Swinging, Grooving, Spontaneous Jazz Trio!

Willow Noir – The Current Miss Burlesque New Zealand – She’ll make you hot under the collar!

My aim as a show producer is to help to expose New Zealand audiences to the fabulous array of performing artists we have in New Zealand. I created this show (and Va-Va-Voom Productions) from scratch and have funded each and every show myself. Most people don't know that I fund the shows off my own back, but I do it because I am so passionate about producing and I absolutely love and believe in my shows and performers. I am solely dependent on the profits from shows to ensure my performers and show costs are paid.

I have been very fortunate that my shows have always sold out and that my performers are paid and show costs are covered. However, as a producer it makes the producing process very stressful when you are worried about ticket sales and trying to drive an audience to your show to ensure you can pay for it! My aim as a producer in 2013 is to up-skill myself in applying for grants and sponsorship for this show and other shows I intend to create. However, for this show, I need your help.

Help me to continue to promote New Zealand's top performing artists and grow one of NZ's top vaudeville revival shows. Help me to fund a top-notch fun and frivolous vaudeville cabaret show for the Auckland Fringe Festival. Help me to be able to pay my show costs and allow for more of a budget to pay performers and create an eclectic and vivacious aesthetic for our show.Depending on profits of a show is hugely demanding and even just the smallest donation will help towards supporting vaudeville in New Zealand!

All in all, the show costs (excluding performer costs) are $4,150.00. Show costs include venue hire, technical operators fees, stage manager fees, props hire, poster creation & printing, APRA costs and publicity. I would love to give my performers as much profit from the show as I possibly can. If we can pull together and meet the $4,150.00 needed to pay for the show, that means ALL of the shows profits (minus tax) will go towards our performers, rather than some, YIPPIE!

Your donations will be truly and utterly appreciated. Myself and the cast and crew of Vivacious Vaudeville - A Fringe Special! will love you from the warmest and deepest cockles of our hearts.
