Meet Jack and Chops; They’re from the 80’s

The Time Ripple Chronicles of Jack and Chops is New Zealand’s newest web series. What were the main learning curves and challenges of creating the web series?

HAYDEN: Jack and Chops has been the most valuable filmmaking learning experience of our lives. We managed to pull together some incredible favours for locations, actors and extras. My biggest learning curve would be the writing. When we got to editing we realised we’d overwritten every single dialogue scene. This meant we spent hours and hours filming scenes that would never make the final cut. I’ll go through every script in future and ask ‘do we NEED this line?’ and ‘does this character NEED to do this?’
