Summerset NZ Young@Heart Chorus Proudly present ‘Forever Young’ The Chorus is coming to town following the phenomenal success of last year’s concerts in the suburbs.

Thirty over-seventies singing modern songs which even amaze their grandchildren makes for a magical evening. They are proudly sponsored by Summerset. Led by Christina Bevan (pictured) and accompanied by Traction, all of the Chorus members are enjoying this age-defying challenge and are out to prove that age is a state of mind!

Their repertoire last year included songs by Bob Dylan, Billy Joel and Split Enz. New songs this year are from Black Eyed Peas, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Amy Winehouse and the award winning One Direction. Some comments from last year’s audience are: “Congratulations on a raging success” “Truly magical” “What a joyous evening “Enjoyed by all ages” We sung all the way back to our car” “You are an inspiration to everyone”

Five of our foundation members had the honour to tour New Zealand with the US Young@ Heart Chorus in 2010 and they set up the Summerset NZ Young at Heart Chorus with encouragement from Bob Cilman, the Director of USA Young@Heart .
