Photobook Festival
Photobook/NZ is New Zealand’s national photobook festival, celebrating small press photobooks and connecting photographers, publishers and their book-loving audiences.
Enjoy these rare artist books, and take this opportunity to purchase limited editions and meet the photographers and publishers who make them. There will also be award winning photobooks from Aotearoa and around the globe on display.
At 4pm, after the photobook fair there will be a presentation in Soundings Theatre by Nicola Legat, publisher at both Massey University Press and Te Papa Press, followed by a digital presentation with Hoda Afshar, Iranian/Australian photographer who will be in conversation with Daniel Boetker-Smith discussing her book Speak The Wind
To complete the weekend, on Friday evening 19th August (from 8pm - 9.30pm) Massey University will be presenting the Peter Turner Lecture with this year's speaker - Fiona Clark.
