Interests Facilitating the development and presentation of innovative and experimental art in all art forms via a high profile annual, open-access, festival.
Playwrights and poets; comedians and historians; critics and consciences! Scribes of all stripes will gather in Ōtepoti/Dunedin for the eighth New Zealand Young Writers Festival from 29 September till the 2nd of October.
Held in the heart of Dunedin - UNESCO City of Literature, the festival will include free workshops, performances, poetry slams, panel discussions and bookish social festivities of all types. Produced by the Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust, the programme will be officially released at the end of August and include 20 free events featuring nationally renowned writers and editors. This festival is free to attend but does require registration. Registration will be available on the website when the programme is released.
