Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki | Auckland Arts Festival 2023 is back in March
Within 40+ extraordinary events, there will be 12 New Zealand premieres, six world premieres, five Australasian premieres, one preview, and one stop on a world tour. The Festival brings local and international art to you, right across Tāmaki Makaurau, from Waiheke Island to Waitakere and Māngere to Matakana, with lots to offer in the heart of the city as well.
There’s waiata, kapa haka, dance, theatre, comedy, cabaret, aerial, jazz, opera, kōrero, sand art, orchestral and chamber music, R&B, K-rhythm, Afrofunk, light art, photography and visual arts, Korean pansori, puppets, fire, film, family, infrared technology, Chinese pole art, a biodegradable light event, accessible performances – all programmed across 18 unforgettable days, 9–26 March next year.
