This course will introduce you to the
head drawing methods taught by
masters Frank Riley, Andrew Loomis
and John Asaro. Through this you will
learn how to see the head in shapes and
planes for doing portrait paintings and
drawings and learn how to accurately see
proportions, where to accurately place
the features on a face. We will learn to
draw with charcoal pencil to use it as a
brush, to draw in a painterly style. By the
end you will be able to capture portraits
with confidence, speed and efficiency.
