AUNTY'S HOUSE PRESENTS
SKETCH & SIP: NOKSHI KOTHA
EMBROIDERED TALK
—
A relaxed afternoon stitching with
community facilitated by Sahana Rahman
as part of World of Cultures 2025 at
Studio One Toi Tū. Sahana’s workshops
are inspired by her multicultural
background and South Asian heritage,
featuring nakshi kantha—a Bengali
communal embroidery community-driven
practice where each stitch brings us
closer together.
Bring a meaningful item to share, stitch
and explore collaborative processes in
a space designed for creativity, stories,
and culture. As always, we will have spicy
chai to sip and delicious snacks + DJ
basmami will provide live cultural vibes
to keep energy flowing!
