Maria spent her early years growing up in Spain. This body of work explores the memories she has of this time, the heat, colour and bustle, a sensory exploration of another time seen through the eyes of a child. Tina is working with expanses of washed colour to create emotional entry points for the viewer. Tina has always been interested in the world around us that we cannot see, where other lives exist and often connect with us in unexpected ways. This body of work explores those entry points and spaces. Both artists are interested in the world between worlds, where memory and the past, present and future collide and collude.
