About the play
In a quiet retirement home for actors, preparations are underway for Margot Buchanan’s birthday—though she’d much rather pretend it wasn’t happening.
The arrival of unexpected guests; including her ex-husband’s second wife, an eager young actress seeking advice on playing Juliet, and a ghost who simply won’t stay silent, soon throw everything into chaos.
This moving comedy is full of misunderstandings, surprises, and the lasting bonds that tie people together long after the curtain has fallen.
