Veronica Herber BVA - is a full time visual artist based in Tamaki Makaurau.

Known originally for her large scale outdoor works using Japanese Washi Tape she now has a studio in Ponsonby making minimalist works with Japanese Foto tape.

Herber has exhibited widely In New Zealand and overseas in both public and private galleries and has won several awards.

This will be her 1st solo show with Melanie Roger Gallery, Tamaki Makarau.

 

‘Herber uses torn washi tape and graphite to create a visual space that feels smoky, shifting, mysterious and almost cosmic’ - Justin Paton, head curator of International Art at the Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney.
