An established and respected artist, Hong Cumming's work is recognised for its adept mastery of many different media. Working in line and wash, watercolour, acrylic and oil, Hong's versatility and skill allow her to capture any subject from figures to flowers, animals to architecture. Based in The Art Studio on Casabella Lane, Hong offers regular classes in portraiture, figure drawing and a variety of other techniques.
We are lucky to be able to offer the opportunity for participants to join with Hong in the inspiring arboretum environment. Exploring a variety of drawing materials, Hong will lead the workshop sharing her skills and knowledge around the use of perspective and capturing architecture.
Perspective is an element that underpins much art practice but can cause frustration. Take this opportunity to gain valuable skills from Hong as she works alongside you to help in mastering this aspect of drawing.
