Come along and have a go at portraiture with our koha life drawing sessions, hosted monthly at the Gallery.
With a mix of timed short and long poses, you are invited to bring your own materials or use the basic supplies we provide.
The sessions run from 2 pm to 4 pm—please arrive early to set up. We'll take a short kaputī break halfway through. This is a koha event, with all contributions going directly to our models. Friends and whānau are welcome!
Accessibility Information: The New Zealand Portrait Gallery is an accessible venue, all on one level. There is an accessible wharepaku at the back of the venue. The gallery has automatic sliding doors and glass doors that can be pushed or pulled to enter. We have a wheelchair available for use within the gallery, and there is low stool seating throughout.
