This workshop welcomes Tushar Sharma from IMAgEN8.  Tushar has been working with young photographers since 2019 encouraging them to engage with our natural environment and gaining a greater appreciation for wildlife through the lens of a camera.  Providing high quality digital single lens reflex (dSLR) cameras for young photographers opens up opportunities to capture images unlike those usually achieved with a phone camera.  

Many children may never have the opportunity to work with equipment of this quality and the results can be inspiring and spark new interest in the unique natural environment that is all around us. Recognising the benefits to mental well-being, and nurturing care towards the environment, Tushar is passionate about facilitating connection to nature.

This workshop welcomes young photographers (8 - 18yrs) to join Tushar to capture the natural beauty of Waitakaruru Arboretum.  Photographers may want to enter their images into the Fleeting Moments Photography competition hosted by the arboretum, open 19th April - 18th May.
