PUBLIC TALK: Travel Sketching with Tony McNeight

Tony McNeight is a passionate and dedicated travel sketcher and teacher taking 8-week classes in Auckland, as well as workshops extensively throughout New Zealand and around the world.

Having introduced the joy of travel sketching to over 3,000 adults he derives immense pleasure showing how easy it is to start your journey in this mindful pursuit.

Travel sketching incorporates sketching, where possible ‘en plein air’ (outside), capturing the moment.  His tools of choice, an A5 sketchbook, pens, aquarelles and watercolour paint.

Having exhibited locally and internationally his talk includes stories and examples of his sketching, plus an opportunity to see him ‘in action’.
