20 Vessels is a transformative ceramic
series by clay artist Roger A. Wyllie from
RAW studios, created over two years.
Each unique piece balances form and
function, celebrating imperfections in the
hand-built process. Inspired by natural
patinas, textures, and organic shapes
from metamorphic landscapes, these
vessels evoke a sense of grounding and
connection to the earth. Wyllie pushes
his medium in unexpected directions,
paralleling his personal transformation.
The tactile qualities of the clay serve as
a metaphor for shaping identity while
giving the material its own voice.
