Schmuck is German for jewellery. Schmuck Rangiora celebrates contemporary Aotearoa jewellery to coincide and in recognition of Aotearoa artists presence and connections to the annual prestigious Schmuck Munich held every March.

Artists hail from across the moto to include Pōneke Wellington, Kā Muriwai Arrowtown, Rangiora, Ōhinehou Lyttelton, and Te Wharau Charteris Bay.
The show has been curated to provide a diverse blend of provocative materials and stunning designs. Alongside this exhibition 15 March - 23 April and to encourage community engagement; Waimakariri Libraries will be running a Jewellery Holiday programme for Primary students and the Rangiora Library Tinker Zone have jewellery related technologies for all ages to play. Participating artist Julie Hassall will be running workshops with dates to be announced over the duration of the show.
