You will join in 11 two-hour long online sessions, which explore:
- different materials, processes, concepts, and methodologies;
- formal elements and their organising principles, and pure experiential engagement;
- observational and conceptual mahi;
- 2Dand3D;
- traditional artistic idioms and anarchic interventions; and
art historical contexts of production (incl. socio-political/ economic).
The kaupapa is invention and fun. You will gain courage and discipline: to focus, to not care, and to act. We embrace creative risk, accident, and failure. Formal instruction is interspersed with play: conceptual drawing, 3D drawing, drawing with light and with the silhouette, stop-motion, and collage etc.
