This Saturday, October 5th, marks a significant milestone for Fingers, one of Auckland's most esteemed contemporary jewellery galleries, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary with a grand group show. The theme, aptly chosen for this golden occasion, invites over 60 contemporary jewellery artists to interpret 'Golden' in their unique ways, promising a diverse and captivating exhibition.

Eszter Szigethy, an Auckland-based stone artist and architect, is among the featured artists. Her contemporary pounamu and jade jewellery blends Kiwi charm with global inspiration, drawing from New Zealand's flora and fauna to create modern, elegant pieces. Her background in architecture brings a distinctive perspective to her jewellery designs, seamlessly combining heritage with contemporary flair. For the Golden Anniversary Group Show, Eszter has created a series of jade pieces inspired by the golden ratio and minimalism, marking her first exploration of this timeless principle in wearable art.

The Fingers Golden Anniversary Group Show is an event not to be missed, offering a rare opportunity to see the work of over 60 contemporary jewellery artists under one roof. The exhibition opens this Saturday, October 5th, at 2pm, and will be held at 2 Kitchener St, Auckland Central (opposite the Auckland Art Gallery). For more information visit www.fingers.co.nz
