Celebrate Pride at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki with a day of art, music, performance and self-expression. This festival brings together rainbow artists and communities in a joyful programme honouring creativity, identity and connection.

In this one-day workshop you will learn all the tips and tricks of speedweve mending which you will be able to use in everyday life. Over time you can progress to mending with shapes such as diamonds, checker patterns and hearts.

Meet the sheep! Experience the feel of 'raw' wool and how to prepare it. Then create a yarn using just your fingers before progressing to using a spinning wheel!

In this one day workshop you can bring some of your produce, such as apples, pears, plums, peaches, as well as vegetables including beetroot, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, onions, and we will magically turn them into rows of glistening jars of beautiful preserves.

Discover being resourceful by learning to manage repurposed and recycled materials to create unique and interesting small sculptures, contemporary jewellery, or artworks for your interior.
