Film Processing:

We use the very best dip-and-dunk photo processing for transparency (E6),  colour negative (C-41) and black & white film.

From 35mm/120 to 8x10” large format film, we have you covered – not only for the processing but for digitising your images too!  

Film Scanning:

We can create digital scans using one of our four film scanners capable of amazing scans of all film types and formats:

• Fuji Frontier - Bulk scanning for 35mm and 120 film formats.
• Noritsu HS-1800 - Bulk scanning for 35mm and 120 film formats at a higher resolution.
• Imacon Flextight 848 - Higher resolution scans from all film formats up to 4x5”.
• Howtek 7500 Drum Scanner - produces true 48 bit files from your negative, transparency and B/W film, up to 11x14”.  The drum scanner is the only way to go for premium film scanning to get the most out of your film, especially if you are shooting 4x5 or 8x10.

Fine Art Scanning

Fine Art scanning is making a high resolution digital file from any hard copy (prints, artworks, paintings, posters, photographs etc). We have the ability to scan large originals up to 2 x 3 metres. Our digital artists can accurately size and colour-match the digital file to your original artwork.

Also popular for copying damaged family photographs, maps or anything you want to preserve. We can scan the original and restore it to look as new.

Printing

Whether it's a few 4x6 prints for the family album or a large scale one-off piece of art for an exhibition, we have you covered. A professional art print is made using the very best high definition equipment and finest materials, all overseen by master printers. We offer C-type and Giclée printing, as well as canvas production.

• Chromira Printing: The ultimate professional photographic archival prints; silver based Digital C-types are real photographic prints, created on light sensitive paper.

Papers Offered: Fuji Matte, Fuji Gloss, Fuji Velvet Matte & Fuji Flex.

• Giclée (Inkjet) fine art printing: Giclee is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival paper to achieve beautiful prints known for their archival quality, light fastness and stability.

Mounting, Laminating & Framing

We offer full professional mounting and framing services, including art framing, specifically tailored to the needs of the most discerning customers. We can work with you to coordinate all aspects of your production.

Mounting is a great way to present and protect your photographs in a clean and minimalist way that is great for exhibitions or the home.

Substrates such as Foamboard or Kapa mount are great for lightweight versatility. 

Acrylic Face mount is ideal for vibrant colours and Dibond can also be used for a contemporary look. We use a front-face laminate which is a protective film overlay with UV protection to help prevent prints from fading.

Our custom in-house framing workshop offers a wide range of mouldings, glass, and finishes to best suit your prints or artworks. Come to our reception to view samples of all our materials in person, and we can guide you towards the best framing options to suit your art.
