The Scottish Migration Museum in the Northland township of Waipu will again hold its, now famous, wearable art contest and show at the end of September next year.
Entries are now open and welcome from all corners of Aotearoa, with the emphasis in 2023 being on all the diverse cultures of our land.
Tartan will be, as always, at the forefront of the contest but not compulsory. It is hoped that designers will explore their roots and symbolise these in their entries.
Entry forms can be downloaded from the Scottish Migration Museum website or picked up from the front desk of the Waipu building. Early bird fee is only $30 and no details are needed at this stage, simply names and contact numbers. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates.
This contest has grown over the ten years of staging, is always a sell out and is an event not to be missed.
