Kia mahi ngātahi mō Pōneke mō tōna āpōpō | Working together for Wellington's future.
The Creative Capital business unit ensures that the council is set up to reflect the significance and effective delivery of the Aho Tini 2030: Arts, Culture and Creativity Strategy that is designed to further support the arts and the artists in the Capital and we are hiring!
About the role:
ArtSplash is a week-long festival, held every two years, that celebrates tāmariki and rangatahi on the big stage. Young people aged 5-13 can experience performing in world-class venues in dance and choir concerts, as well as wearable arts showcases and visual art projects. In 2025, ArtSplash will be running 25-28 August. Read more on our website.
The ArtSplash Day Out (ASDO) is a new facet to ArtSplash which is being rolled out in 2025. ASDO is a series of itinerary experiences offered by local arts organisations to give students the chance to experience all the artistic delights our city has to offer. School groups will come into the city for their dress rehearsal in the morning, engage in the ArtSplash Day Out in the afternoon, before returning to their venue to perform in their concert in the evening.
Our ArtSplash Hosts will play a crucial part in guiding school groups around Pōneke during ArtSplash week - keeping schools on track and ensuring they have an amazing day out in the city.
