Join Wellington City Council’s Creative Capital team, where arts, culture, and events converge to celebrate the vibrant, diverse spirit of Pōneke. We’re looking for an Assistant Creative Producer - Events to join us in crafting experiences that leave lasting impacts and contribute into the heart of our city’s celebrations.
Why this role matters:
Wellington’s identity is built through its stories, its artists, its bold public moments. As an Assistant Creative Producer, you’ll help shape Pōneke’s cultural calendar - with a key focus on the activation of the Te Ngākau precinct. You’ll assist with concept development, deliver production logistics, artist and stakeholder liaison, and marketing coordination. It’s a hands-on, heart-filled role for someone who wants to be part of something meaningful.
You’ll support the delivery of events that reflect the voices and values of our communities, all within the vision of our Aho Tini strategy a blueprint for a bold, inclusive cultural future.
