SISTEMA AOTEAROA
Wellbeing is central to our music-making. We work with over 1000 young people in early childhood centres, schools, and in after-schools programmes, learning string, brass and woodwind instruments. Our rangatahi programme includes performance and tutoring. Our concerts have strong community support.
We are looking for two trustees who will serve three-year terms. You will be expected to be able to tell our story with authenticity and passion to a diverse audience and your networks will add powerfully to our kaupapa. Our values include kotahitanga, working with and alongside others.
The skills we seek are one or more of the following:
Connections with Auckland's music scene would be an advantage.
Please provide a CV and covering letter that outlines
(1) any connections you have, if any, with learning or youth programmes for young people
(2) your experience, if any, in working in South Auckland's Pasifika or Māori communities
(3) your experience or interest in growing your governance skills for financial audit and risk.
