Our second round of funding for 2024/2025 is now open. This is available for community led projects in Waitematā Local Board area.
Toi Waitematā arts funding supports local creative ideas that may take place in streets, parks, town centres, kura, marae or other public places within our local board area.

We’re particularly interested in projects that achieve the following key outcomes:
● Increase access to the arts for Māori artists and communities, as both audience members and through direct participation/involvement, including working with local marae.
● Increase access to the arts for Pasifika and Asian artists and communities, as both audience members and through direct participation/involvement.
● Celebrate and enhance the taiao and geographic areas that do not see as much activity, for example Parnell and Newmarket.
This funding round is now open for expressions of interest for projects taking place between 1 April and 15 July 2025.
Expressions of interest close 21 March 2025 at 5pm.
