Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC) is looking for a dynamic, visionary, community-minded Director to guide one of Aotearoa’s most vibrant multidisciplinary arts precincts into its next exciting chapter.

Located in the heart of West Auckland, Corban Estate Arts Centre is a creative home to artists, makers, performers, and diverse communities — a place where arts, culture, innovation, and connection thrive. If you have the mana, strategic leadership, and passion to elevate a landmark arts organisation, we want to hear from you.

The Role
As Director, you will be the driving force behind CEAC’s creative and organisational leadership. You will be charged with stewarding our strategic direction, building strong partnerships, have oversight of our financial sustainability, and nurture an environment where artists and communities feel empowered and inspired.

You’ll work closely with our dedicated Board, our talented kaimahi, our Pacific and Māori partners, and the many creatives who call Corban Estate Arts Centre home — ensuring this arts precinct continues to thrive as a place where diverse voices, practices and stories are celebrated.

This is a rare opportunity to make a lasting and meaningful contribution to arts and culture in Aotearoa.

You are someone who:

  • Brings proven leadership in the arts or cultural sector
  • Builds strong relationships and collaborative partnerships
  • Is confident in strategic planning, financial management, and organisational development
  • Thrives in community-centred creative environments
  • Is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and values diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Enjoys turning big ideas into achievable, impactful outcomes

What you’ll lead:

  • Strategic direction and long-term vision for CEAC
  • Financial, administrative, and operational management
  • Funding and sponsorship development
  • Staff leadership, wellbeing, and professional development
  • Brand, marketing, and public-facing representation
  • Key partnerships with artists, iwi, Pacific communities, funders, and local government
