Te Manawa is seeking an Exhibitions Manager with experience in, and understanding of, project management, exhibition scheduling and design. You’ll know what makes our visitors tick and how to engage them successfully with the varied storytelling and experiences we create for, and share with, them.
The Exhibitions Manager will lead the team responsible for the planning, development and delivery of Te Manawa’s exciting and ever-changing exhibition programme. You will have a thorough understanding of programme delivery, contract management and professional curatorial practice.
You’ll know how to juggle the demands of a busy calendar with foresight, innovation and flexibility, and you’ll know how to get the best results within the time and budget allocated.
An understanding of contemporary design principles will be an advantage as will your ability to think creatively and problem-solve. The energy and enthusiasm you bring to the table will inspire your colleagues, drive your team and shape unforgettable experiences for the communities we serve.
